my new job, my new "home", lots of cruising...
... well, a lot to catch up with, here's the quick version! After Spain with my dad I went straight to France to find a job on a yacht. Which happened really quickly this time, I found the job I wanted after two days. On a 73m Motor Yacht. They wanted me to do a Sea Survival/Fire Fighting course before I started, which happened to be in Sweden. After the course I went to Kusadasi in Turkey to meet the yacht and start my new job. All was really good from the beginning on.... crew (20), work, cabin mate. Lots of fun, crew BBQ on the dock, going out dancing, trips to surrounding sights. Then we started the charter after a week I've been on the boat, and it was quite exhausting, stressful, not too enjoyable. After 10 days, two days in between, next charter. Crew dinner in Antalya in between - again lots of fun and dancing in Antalya clubs. On the day the next charter started (the guests were only arriving in the evening) I got to see Nicola in Rhodos. Only for 2 hours, but unbelievable anyway that we were there, and she was there on her holiday.
After the second charter was over, we went straight to Malta, where we were last night. Left Malta in the morning, and are on the way to Gibralta now.
Hmmmmm, yeah, that's it for now... :-)

lover -
i have been traveling too! spending time in LA, davis, oakland, SF -- working from my laptop and getting ulcers about not getting clients things for lack of internet connection, etc etc...but i was excited to get your email, and then see you online on my first day back to my house. but then you disappeared! maybe you were mad, or maybe internet sucks in the ocean, i do not know...
i love you and i want to talk to you soon! things are mellow ish until monday, when i fly back to ohio for 2 weeks, but i will hopefully have more down time than i have been having lately ... that's the idea, anyway...
your photos bring me joy! and so do germans singing sad songs on npr, not because i relish their misery, but because their accents make me smile and miss you...
